My life is scattered
My heart is shattered
I am broken.
I cannot escape the depths of my soul
What again, will make me whole?
The rain falls like snow
Heavy clumps filled with messages of hate.
Oh misleading elements, you continue to perplex and illuminate.
Dare I ask for an umbrella?
A bit of compassion, of shelter, of sensitivity
A smidge of guidance, or sensibility?
Hark, what dispells the swirling clouds over my head?
The wind slows, the rain stopped.
My guard now is totally dropped.
A single ray of sunshine beams down from upon high.
I bask in its glow, I know this feeling.
And soon, I can feel my heart heal
. 
Adoration 
I'm Lynn  My deviant name thingy-mah-bob is quite...strange. I can never come up with anything original, so I just went for plain stoopid. xD I love to write poetry, for emotional reasons, and because I find it quite enjoyable. My all time favorite poet is Frank O'Hara, his best poem (in my opinion) is "Morning". Usually if my poetry has a "Mature Content Warning" on it, its just for one or two swears. I try to avoid this, however, because it annoys me. I live in Massachusetts, and yes I say wicked in an obnoxious excess and rarely pronounce my r's. I'm 16, going on 17. I enjoy any form of tea at any time of day O_o I also love having coffee 24/7. Music is required in my day. I'm a Unitarian Universalist, and I bet you have no idea what that is  I adore traveling, so far I've been to Iceland, Scotland,every New England state, almost every state on the East Coast, Nevada, and Georgia. Random Factoids: My friends call me Zeus. I have the most random freckles in the most random places. There's one about half a centimeter away from my eyeball and one big one under my nose. I can honestly say I really do not hate anyone. I've come to terms with my past and forgiven those who have wronged me. I have obsessions with the strangest things. I swear...a LOT (but not nearly as much as I used to) I have a tendency to cross my eyes in photos, for no apparent reason. I can't wait for college, but I'm petrified to move away from home. I have green eyes, and I really love them. I would never change the color, if anything, I'd simply intensify it. Up until I was fourteen, I thought "Heedun doffin deedin doofur" was an Icelandic phrase. Thanks Moms I'm totally obsessed with elephants <3. If you buy me a stuffed one I will definitely be your best friend. I always do that really annoying thing where you add like thirty extra letters to the end of words. I think people want to smack me for it :] |
